Richard Holman-Baird runs a farm near Stonehaven, 6000 acres with 1,300 breeding Scottish Blackface ewes. Grassland is let to local cattle farmers seasonally. A horse riding school, husky sledging centre, angling club, rugby club and several let cottages are on the estate. The family lives at Rickarton - family owned since the 1850s. Richard is Clan Baird Chieftan.

Army 6yrs. N.I. Medal. Rtd PRINCE2 Practitioner Project Manager. Former Chairman of Stonehaven & District Community Council. Msc The Robert Gordon University. Local historian and Honorary Member & "Blather" of Clan Baird. Founder of North East Twinning Group.
Neil is an author, educator and education manager. He is an experienced project manager and sponsor in a wide range of projects. He has executive and board level experience and has led major education bodies. He is the author of several successful books, and numerous papers and research commentaries and he regularly speaks at national and international conferences.
President, Clan Baird Society Worldwide, Professor of Religious Studies and Curriculum and Instruction. Research including Religious Reformation, Early Scottish Christianisation, Viking Immigration to Scotland and the US, Scottish Highland Legends and Lore, Pedagogy, Mathematical Modeling, Complexity Theory.
Graphic and web designer working with some of the most successful local businesses. Freelanced, after having worked within the marketing departments of the O&G and Manufacturing sector respectively, in and around the Aberdeen area. Husband to Wendy, also on the steering group, father of four and grandfather. Enjoys nights in and out with family, and often found cycling on roads around the local hills.
Wendy is proprietor of Steamteam, laundry service based in Laurencekirk, and servicing the Mearns and Angus areas. She has been providing a quality service since 2004, and has many established clientele. She is also a vice-chair of Pillar Kincardine, a Stonehaven based mental health charity. Wife to Billy, and doting mum and grandmother.
Born in Uist on the Western Isles but migrated to the mainland to help establish Cockers Garden Centre on the Lang Stracht, Aberdeen. Anne currently lives in Stonehaven where she has property and additional properties in Inverurie.
ANNE MCQUARRIE: GROUP MEMBER
Gavin has lived in Aboyne for 20 years and worked overseas for most of his adult life. He is married with three daughters, one of whom lives and works in Lyon, France. Gavin got involved in the twinning association in 2019. He is looking to promote all Aboyne and Deeside has to offer and to build upon the existing exchange activities with our French colleagues.
